He took it and flicked his thumb at the edge. "Thanks. It was nice meeting you, Melody." He extended a hand to shake hers, which was not something normally on offer, but he'd already touched her hair and not been wrecked by it. Unless she had a high-powered antique ring on, Melody was probably a safe bet for a hand shake.
